I first encountered the domain of User Experience in the Summer of 2018 during my internship with ClearTax. I was a “Content and Copywriter” before. My articles focused on helping our audience get used to our services. I tried to understand their perspectives and problems and then went on to provide solutions. My role was then immediately changed to that of a UX Researcher.

Being a UX Researcher, I started focusing on the WHYs of the product and began to put the users’ interests at the forefront. I wanted to build certain features that helped our customers, but they were a bit behind in the priority list from a Business perspective. I took it upon myself to work on those features, and after a certain point, I realized that I would need my team members' help. I got the required support and was able to Push my first feature: ‘Fund Comparisons’ out to the Public in May 2021. This got me thinking about Product Management and the Product Manager’s role in shaping any product/application.

My intrigue got the better of me, and since then, I’ve been on a path to becoming a Product Manager. In the last few years, I co-founded CoachEd, and in December 2022, I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with an MSc in Engineering Management. I also served as the Vice-President of the Johns Hopkins Product Management Club.

During my free time, you can find me getting a breath of fresh air while exploring the nearby trails or at the nearest Tennis courts, trying to get back my 2010 form.
